I'm a 26 year old from Milwaukee trying to make sense of the roller coaster that is life. On September 18th, I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy with a few rare birth defects: neuronal migration disorder, colpocephaly and agenesis of the corpus callosum. For those that don't speak medicine, that means that Asher is missing the part of the brain that sends messages between the right and left hemisphere and because of that his brain formed just a little different. Asher waged an incredible war against the odds and stayed with us here on earth for 21 months before gaining his angel wings on July 1, 2019.

We miss him every minute of every day, but we know this world was never what was best for him. We continue to bet on Asher and share his story until we are reunited with him up above.
